Now we are approaching the series of hills, peaks, crags formed by ancient limestone many of which have fanciful names. A poem printed in the river guide states "The river winds like a blue silk ribon - While the hills erect like green jade hairpins." - but unfortunately on this overcast day we won't see such colors. |
