Map and painting and geneological table for period of the Wars for consolidation of the early Tang Dynasty - 629-69 AD. These are campaigns to the west against Turkish tribes in Central Asia. During the Tang Dynasty rule Xi'an became the gateway for extensive trade across Central Asia to Persia and the West.
