Here we are well south-east of the line of Russian artillery that was in the valley behind the large bush. The Light Brigade formed at the far end of the valley about where the trees and white building appear now and passed through the artillery and clear off the photo on the right edge. One of the Russian cavalry units that then intercepted the British came from this location.
