	This diagram from the U. S. Military Academy text depicts the final phase of the battle. The same errors as in the other diagram show here - the Cannae ruin is on the wrong side of the river and the course of the river is alligned wrong. But the essentials of the final positions of the Roman and Carthaginian armies are clear.
