1799 - 1802 Cavalry, Infantry, Artillery -
From the left - Cavalry in new uniform of green jacket with black collar,
lapels, cuffs and turnbacks, and with yellow epaulettes, buttons and button
holes. They had white coat lining and vest and white leather breeches. The
helmet has a brass plate with a picutre of a mounted dragoon, and for officers
a green plume. Infantry officer (not the facing on the coat, collar and cuff is
changed to red, but the turnbacks, lace, buttons and other trim is still
white); Artillery officer (now has yellow trim around the red facings and
turnbacks). Officers breeches have now been changed to pantaloons of blue edged
with red for service.
