1902 - 1907 Lieutenant General, Officers of the Staff and Line and trumpeter (olive drab service) - From the left - Trumpeter of Cavalry (yellow hat cord not visible in the reproduction); First Lieutenant of Infantry (gold hat cords for officers, wearing a .38 caliber Colt standard until 1909 when it was replaced by the .45 cal.); Lieutenant General S. B.
