RUSSIAN CHURCHES

Tserkov Zachatiya Pravednoi Anni, chto v Uglu (Church of the conception of St Anne that is in the corner) on the Moskvoretskaya Embankment at the corner of the former Kitai gorod wall. The church had another name Zachatiya na Vostrom kontse (1493) This is one of the most ancient white stone churches in Moscow. The bell tower has been destroyed. But the small church is there just outside the huge Rossia hotel. Svyatini page 37.
