1812 CAMPAIGN - BORODINO

In this map from Beskrovni's Atlas we see the situation toward the end of the battle around 1800. Ataman Platov has returned from his cavalry raid. The French have now taken the Rayevski battery and also pushed their line past the fletches and into Semyenovski village. The Russians have reformed into a new line toward the rear. The large Russian reserve artillery park is still standing well to the rear just west of Pisarevo. It never went into action.
