He was the son of
David Konstantinovich, appanage prince of Galich-Dmitrov and a daughter of
Fedor Rostislavich Chernii, prince of Yaroslavl. His
son was Dmitrii, appanage prince of Galich. The
family is shown on this chart. Boris received the
udel, Dmitrov, separate from the Galich principality in the 1330's. But around
1363, together with Galich, it was taken by Dmitri
Donskoi and governed by Donskoi's descendents. From 1389 Dmitrov most likely
was governed by Vladimir Ivanovich Serpukhovski and then by Petr, son of
Dmitrii Donskoi.
