He was a son of Vasilii Mikhailovich, prince of Drutsk. He was also prince of Drutsk (without udel?) He married Anastasia, daughter of Oleg Ivanovich, prince of Ryazan. Their sons were Andrei and Vasilii, princes of Drutsk without udels. They are shown on this family chart.
