GLEB IVANOVICH (14th cent)

 
   
 

He was a son of Ivan Mikhailovich, appanage? prince of Mologa. He became appanage prince of Shumorov when this udel was created for him by his father. His sons were Boris, Semyon Khromii, Mikhail Shamin, and Ivan Goliga, princes of Shumorov without udels. The family is shown on this chart. The Shumorov udel was the third and last udel created out of the Mologa principality in the first half of the 15th century. Its center was at Shumorovo on the Shumora river, a tributary of the Volga, south west of Mologa. Gleb was the first udel prince and also the last to retain udel ruling rights. His sons became service princes at Moscow. Mikhail Shamin was the founder of the Shaminski princely family and Ivan Goliga founded the Goliginski dvoriane family. Another of Gleb's descendents founded the Khodiryev dvoriane family.
