He was the son of Dmitrii Romanovich, prince of Yaroslavl. He was a prince of Yaroslavl. His sons were Mikhail, Fedor, princes Dyeyevich; and his daughters were Maria and another unknown name. The daughters married brothers, Andrei and Semyon Dmitriyevich, princes of Kuben. The family is shown on this chart.
