PETR IVANOVICH SHUISKI (d. 1564) |

He was a son of Ivan Vasil'yevich Shuiski. He He was a leading military commander and participant in the capture of Kazan in 1552. He died on campaign during the Livonian war at the battle of Ula in 1564. He was a boyar and leader of the Shuiskii clan. He was then succeeded by his cousin, Ivan Andreevich Shuiskii until Ivan's death in 1573. Then his son, Ivan became clan leader. His sons were Ivan and Nikita. The family is shown on this chart. |
