He was a son of Ivan Fedorovich Men'shoi Lapa, appanage prince of Golibesov. He became prince of Golibesov without udel. His sons were Ivan Bolshoi, Petr, Vasilii, Ivan Men'shoi and Semyon, all princes Golibesov without udels. The family is shown on this chart.
