He was the second son of
Daniil Romanovich, prince of Yaroslavl. He became
appanage prince of Ukhor. His sons were Nikiti, Fedor Okhlyabini, Aleksandr,
Yaroslav and Mikhail Khvorostini, princes of Ukhor without udel. The family is
shown on this chart.
The Ukhor (Ugorski) udel was formed from the Yaroslav principality in the 15th
century. It lay along the bank of the Ukhra river, a tributary of the Sheksna.
The first and last independent prince of Ukhor was Vasilii. His three eldest
sons lost their udel rights and died without children. The fourth son, Fedor
Okhlabin, was the founder of the Okhlayabin dvoryani family and the fifth,
Mikhail Khvorostin, founded the Khvorostin dvoryane family.
