The Vantage Travel Company leases the Nicolai Chernishevski regularly each summer and organizes 9 or10 cruises between Moscow and St Petersburg.

The daily ship schedule noted that there would be a 'surprise' dinner. But we were nevertheless startled to find on entering the restaurant that there had been a 'mutiny' by the crew who donned pirate garb and took over for a great party.

The 'pirates' led by the ship's purser herself hiding behind dark glasses have captured Eckhart, the Vanguard 'hotel' honcho and have him tied up for ransom.

{short description of image}

Having siezed control of the N. Chernishevski restaurant the earstwhile crew takes advantage of their 'pirate' status to engage in a little gambling.
