The Baroque Strogonov Palace on the corner of Nevski Prospect and Moyka Canal was built in 1752-4 by Bartolomeo Rastrelli (who designed Catherine Palace also) for Count Sergei Strogonov. It is now part of the Russia Museum and contains special exhibitions. |
