Dastagir Wardak - Map Collection­ Inventory

This is the index to the extensive set of example operational and tactical planning maps and diagrams prepared to illustrate the course material for the lectures on Soviet theater offensives in Western Europe created using Soviet planning methods and map symbols on the basis of American military maps of Western Germany. These sample planning maps and overlays were drawn by Colonels Dastagir Wardak and Ali Jalali and John Sloan. They are now located in the Map Division of the U.S. Library of Congress.

Folder 1.

Binding with annotated title "Offense. Contains ten 1:50,000 scale, Series M745, map sheets of Germany. All sheets overprinted with military exercise information.
