Serindia 332 - Remains of ancient watch-tower on Arach hill, north-east of Maral-bashi - Stein visited Maral-bashi, east of Kashgar several times while passing through, most notably after he was defeated by sand dunes while attempting a direct crossing from Maral-bashi to Mazar-tagh.
