Here I have superimposed the map sheet numbers from Innermostasia over the map sheet for Serindia. Rather crude but this shows that each Innermostasia map sheet contains four of the Serindia map sheets - plus it shows on the west, south, north and east sides where Stein's survey routes included terrain not in the earlier expeditions. But also for maps such as 18, 22, 26 and some others much of the Innermostasia map sheet is actualy blank. For instance in Innermostasia sheet 18 the surveyed area is much like that shown in Serindia map 36.
