Greek outpost located on key strategic terrain covering southeast access to the Evpatoria region. Its location is shown on the map of Crimea at Crimea map. We were fortunate to have Pavel Lyashuk, curator at the Panorama Museum in Sevastopol arrange to take us here and introduce us to Dr Sergei Vnukov, the director of the archeological project currently working at the site. Below are photographs of Dr Vnukov and his team during the summer of 1997.
