Standing here near the center of the long Causeway heights we look northeast. The Russian artillery line was just to the left of the thin white road seen near the center of the picture. The Light Brigade charged from far to the left of this picture. Here we can tell that the Causeway height wasn't actually much of a height, just a low ridge. Buttons and bullets may be found anywhere along this ridge line. |
