Another view of the statue of Yuri Dolgoruki, which stands in a small square across Tver Avenue from the Moscow City hall. Dolgoruki means 'long arm' and refers to Yuri's ability to stretch his powerful sword arm over an increasingly wide region. The statue was created in 1954 by the sculptors, Sergei Orlov, A. Antropov, N. Shtamm, and the architect V. Andreev. It is located in a small square opposite the city hall on Tverski Avenue
