  Cathedral of the spilled blood  
 

Domes at top of the Cathedral of our Savior on the Spilled Blood. The design is by Alfred Parland and Ignatii Malyshev. It was begun in October 1883 but took many years to complete. During Soviet times it was neglected but has now been beautifully restored. The tallest tower is 265 feet high. The five domes are covered with jewler's enamel.
