Georgiy Samoylovich Isserson (born 1898) Participant in the Civil War. CPSU member as of 1919. Graduated from the RKKA Military Academy in 1924. Held command and staff positions, was commander of a division, deputy Chief of the First section of the General Staff, Chairman of the operations Department, Frunze Military Academy, and as of 1936 served as Chairman of the Department of Operational Art at the General Staff Academy. Retired since 1955.
