ANDREI IVANOVICH (1327-1353)

He was the third son of Prince Ivan I Danilovich and Yelena. He was appanage prince of Serpukhov from 1341 to 1353. He married Ul'yana and then about 1345 Maria, daughter of Ivan Fedorovich, prince of Galich. Their sons were Ivan and Vladimir Khrabrii, appanage prince of Serpukhov. Andrei died during the great plague in Moscow along with his older brother, Semyon and the latter's family. This opened the way to rule to the younger brother, Ivan II.
