He was a son of David Yur'yevich, appanage prince of Murom. and Fevronia. He was prince of Murom. His son from marriage with Fevronia was Yaroslav, prince of Murom. The family is shown on this chart.In 1220 he eparticipated in Yuri II's campaign on the Volga.
