Equestrian statue of Tsar Nicholas I in the square in front of St. Isaac's cathedral - the four women statues are modeled after his wife and daughters. They represeant Faith, Justice, Wisdom and Might. Nicholas is wearing the uniform of the Cavalry Guards Regiment. The statue is by Peter Klodt (1859). |
