Our hotel is at number 41. It is a short walk
past the park to reach the new, high bridge into the old city. The entire old
city may be walked through easily. But we recommend doing this in two or three
trips at least. Good views of the old city may be seen from across the river on
all sides. The castle is "Stara Fortetsa" on the narrow neck of land
opposite the new bridge. We recommend driving by car to see the old city from
across the river and from a distance and to visit the Polish suburb and cross
the low-level bridge by the Polish gate. We have marked several landmarks on
