He was a son of Andrei Konstantinovich, appanage prince Obolenski. He
became appanage prince Trostenski. He is shown in
this family chart. His sons were Timofei, Andrei
Golodnii, Ivan Kolishevskii, princes Trostenski without udels. The Trostenski
udel name came from the Zvenigorod udel of the Moscow region. The udel was
taken from the Obolenskii udel in the second half of the 15th century and given
to Aleksandr, the third son of prince Andrei Konstantinovich. He apparently was
the first and last prince to have governing powers over a udel at Trostensk
since his sons were already service princes at Moscow. The Trostenski princely
family ended in 1607.
