ANDREI IVANOVICH (1490 - 1536)

He was the son of Ivan III Vasil'yevich, grand prince of Moscow and his second wife, Sofia Fominichna Paleologa, Byzantine Princess. Andrei married about in 1533 with Yefrosin'ia, daughter of prince Andrei Fedorovich Khovanski. His sons were Vladimir, appanage prince of Staritsk, and Andrei, crown prince of Staritsk, who died without heirs. Andrei Ivanovich was appanage prince of Staritsk in 1519.
