He was a son of Fedor Rostislavich Chernii, appanage prince of Yaroslavl and his second wife, Anna, daughter of the powerful Mongol-Kypchak general, Nogai. He became appanage prince of Yaroslavl on the death of his father in 1299 and ruled until his death in 1321. His sons were Vasilii Groznii, grand prince of Yaroslavl; and Mikhail, appanage prince of Mologa. They are shown on these charts. 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 |
