DMITRII VASIL'YEVICH (14th-15th cent)

 
   
 

He was a son of Vasilii Vasil'yevich, grand prince of Yaroslavl. He became appanage prince of Zaozersk when the udel was created for him by his father. He married Maria. Their sons were Andrei, appanage prince of Zaozersk, Semyon, appanage prince of Kuben, and their daughter was Sofia, who married Dmitrii Yur'yevich Shemyaka, the prince who fought Vasilii II for the throne of Moscow and held it in 1434.
