SVYATOSLAV VSYESLAVICH ( ? - after 1129)

 
   
 

He was prince of Polotsk. His father was Vsyeslav Bryachislavich, prince of Polotsk and usurper at Kyiv. His sons were Vyacheslav; David, prince of Polotsk; Vasil'ko, prince of Polotsk; and he had two daughters, possibly named Gorislava-Yevdokia and Pryedslava. The family is shown on this chart.
In 1129 he was forced by Mstislav Vladimirovich of Kyiv into exile at Byzantium. He returned in 1140. During his exile, when Mstislav died in 1132, Svyatoslav's son, Vasil'ko, was called by the Polotsk magnates to be the prince.
