Boris was appanage prince of Drutsk from 1101. He was the second son of Vsyeslav Bryachislavich, prince of Polotsk (usurper at Kyiv also). Boris's sons were Bryachislav, appanage prince of Izyaslav; Rogvolod, appanage prince of Drutsk; and Zvyenislav. The family is shown on this chart.
